Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Update

April 17, 2020

Greetings Brothers and Sisters,

It’s now been over a month since we have physically gathered as a church family. The past few weeks have indeed been challenging but I want to remind you of the faithfulness of God even during these uncertain times. While the government order still stands on gatherings of any size, I want to encourage you to keep the prayer altars open in your homes. During this designated NY Pause, this is a great opportunity to:

  • slow down and evaluate your personal walk with the Lord
  • recommit to times of daily prayer individually and as a family
  • call and check in on friends and family members near and far
  • establish a routine on supporting your mental and emotional health

While we all continue to do our part with social distancing, I take this time to salute and honor our First Responders and Essential Personnel who, without their dedication and commitment to serving our communities, we would not be able to progress as we have.

Let us continue to keep covered in prayer:

  • government officials, medical and healthcare personnel
  • first responders and essential workers
  • the families grieving the loss of loved ones
  • those who are recovering with the symptoms of CoVID 19
  • those sick and/or hospitalized

While the doors of the church are closed, last week, as a ministry we were able to provide lunch for 105 medical staff at Brookdale University Hospital. Through the work of Hope Center Development Corporation we have been able to continue to provide pantry items and hot meals on Saturdays from 11am-1:30pm.

As a reminder, we have daily prayer Monday to Saturday and we encourage you where possible to join the time slot with the letter starting with your last name. The call-in number is 425-436-6344; Access code 678630#
